Important Information

Partial Closures

• St. George’s Chapel is closed to visitors on Sundays due to religious services. However, worshippers are welcome to attend the services.
• Windsor Castle is closed every Tuesday and Wednesday, as well as from December 24th to 26th.
• As a working royal palace, Windsor Castle may occasionally close or experience disruptions without prior notice.
• When the State Apartments are closed, visitors can still explore the Precincts, Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House, and the Drawings Gallery.
